Disposable Negatives: All my 35mm Film in One Place

Don’t need any amendment rights to carry around this weapon… Point and Shoot Film Cameras! And it is truly a weapon against the posed epidemic we face. Take the picture and move on with living the life so worth capturing!!

See below some of my most favorite pictures shot on 35mm by me or of me. Click photo to enlarge or to be taken to relevant post.

    Jump to Year: 2018. 2019. 2020. 2021. 2022. 2023. 2024. 2025.

    FILM 2025

It is hard to hold more than one camera at a time. This year’s theme was the gift of sharing the moment. I am typically quite stingy with my film because 1) hello,, expensive??? 2) I like to capture moments from my perspective.

But I had so many friends celebrating their special moments this year and it felt right to SHARE in that. I made covers for the cameras so we would know what it was for, then left them lying loose around the event. I have some precious moments of others’ perspectives at baby showers, engagement parties, weddings, and more.

See some samples of the film covers and how to make your own!

    FILM 2024

We have done the math on this film expense and it wasn’t pretty people. So this year, if you grabbed my camera just to take a damn selfie of the corner of your face, I pitched a Texas hissy fit. Reserved specifically for mid- laughter, mid- balancing a crutch on your head, mid- Steve Harvey impressions, and typical picture-perfect moments like those. Can you tell we are getting the hang of this? Check it out…

    FILM 2023

Back by popular demand, despite all the bitchin and moaning from my wallet. I don’t keep track of how much I spend on my hobbies, I’m just a girl after all. But if I were to calculate the years of this by the cameras bought per month multiplied by the cost of the camera plus developing costs, and math math math, I’d estimate spending $%&*@!!

FIGURE IS REDACTED BECAUSE IF I CANT SEE IT, IT CAN’T HURT ME! All my hobbies are expensive; shooting film, snowboarding, throwing parties, yelling “drinks on me!” at bars. See a few of those occurrences captured below…

    FILM 2022

I get withdrawals when I see these photos. I am so jealous of my own life!!! What’s funny is I really didn’t bring around my camera too much this year. But the film follows me… Here are some friend’s film cameras and just a few of mine (like the one of Kris and the pickle, that’s ALL ME).

    FILM 2020 – 2021

Time with friends and our loved ones has always been so valuable but we are reminded to recognize and cherish it much deeper now.

On a lighter note, sorry for all the butts but we are going to make a game out of it called Spot the Ass Tat(s)!

    FILM 2019

Unfathomable to this day and age, we had to give up our phones for a week long summer camp. So these film cameras were the only option to pacify our memory-hoarding minds. And contrary to what you might believe, not having our phones was the opposite of prison, it was so freeing. Camp was packed full of memories and there was barely time to stop and pose which made these cameras perfect because you could snap a candid and move on.

Life nowadays seems to sometimes lack the living aspect because we can get so focused on the angle of the camera and if our butt looks big enough. Check out the pictures where that didn’t matter…

    FILM 2018

The 80s called, they want their disposables back! As the pioneers of our peers, we believe we brought back this trend. Or at least struck the flint and blew on the sparks, giving it life and it spread like wildfire. Our local stores quickly placed “Out of Stock” signs by the Kodaks and Fujis.
